We did however decide to have a fundraiser in conjunction with Little Bread Co. We thought we would make bowls as a club to serve food in at the restaurant. A.C.E. and Little Bread will get a portion of the sales. This will be a great way to bring in more money to fund our trip to NCECA.
To prepare for this fundraiser, we have been having "throw offs" at the studio. As a group we have been making bowls to sell at the fundraiser. If you are not a proficient potter there are other ways to participate. We need clay to be made and kilns to be fired. There are jobs for everyone to do! Plus, we order a pizza to eat while we work =). The next throw off is this Sunday at noon. Please join us.
It is important to let me know if you are interested in going to NCECA. It will help us to know how much money we have to help everyone with their trip. So please shoot me an email when you get a chance.
